Sunday Worship - 6/29/2025: "How Peter’s Comeback Can Be Yours Too | John 21:15-19"

We’ve all had moments we wish we could take back—words we said, chances we didn’t take, people we let down. Peter did too. He denied even knowing Jesus. Not once—three times.

But when Jesus came back, he didn’t bring up Peter’s failure to shame him. Instead, he gave him a chance to try again. John 21 isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being willing—willing to show up again, to love again, to lead again. Your mistakes don’t disqualify you. They prepare you for something deeper.

No matter who you are—rich or poor, known or unknown—Jesus gave his life for all of us. Not for the flawless, but for the ones who fall and still choose to stand up again.  Because grace doesn’t keep score. It gives second chances.

Ever wish life came with subtitles... or at least a “What To Do Next” button? As Jesus has said to His disciples, " “There’s so much more I want to say... but you’re not ready.”  But, he promises the Holy Spirit that will guide us, basically it's Divine GPS!😅

Life's messy. Decisions are hard. But thank God we’ve got a built-in spiritual “navigation system” that says: “Recalculating… hang tight, I’ve got you.”

🌟And, Happy Father's Day to all Dad's and father figures that are doing their best to be a better father each and every day!

🌟 When Jesus appeared to His disciples after the resurrection, they were behind locked doors, overwhelmed by fear and uncertainty. Thomas struggled to believe until he could see for himself.

In a world filled with uncertainty, may we find hope knowing that even when faith is hard, Jesus still shows up. You are not alone in your doubts. You are seen. You are loved.❤️

💡 In our modern world of chaos, confusion, and cancel culture — Jesus shows us a better way:

👉 Stand in truth

👉 Stay in grace

👉 Rest in faith

He didn’t just die for us. He showed us how to live with bold, sacrificial love.

Sunday Worship - 4/6/2025

🌿 In John 12:1-8, Mary does something bold—she breaks a jar of expensive perfume and anoints Jesus’ feet. To some, it looked like waste. But to her, it was love, gratitude, and meaning poured out without hesitation.

💡 Sometimes the things we do from the heart won’t make sense to others. Whether it’s giving your time, showing up for someone, or choosing purpose over popularity—your quiet sacrifices matter more than you know.

💬 Today, ask yourself: What’s something valuable I’m willing to give—without needing approval? #John12 #GiveWithHeart #Lent2025 #BearFruit #TrustGod #GodsLove #LoveOneAnother

Sunday Worship - 3/25/2025

God doesn’t give up on us easily. In today’s Gospel (Luke 13:1–9), Jesus tells of a fig tree that’s not producing fruit—but instead of cutting it down, the gardener gives it more time, more care. That’s grace. This Lent, we’re reminded that while repentance is urgent, God is still patient. He’s giving us every chance to grow. 🌱💜

Sunday Worship - 2/2/2025

Faith isn’t always something we can see, touch, or feel—it’s a deep belief that even when we don’t understand, God is working.

🔹 Difficult times will come, but our trust in Him must remain stronger than our fears.

🔹 The breakthrough doesn’t come from understanding everything—it comes from obedience and faith in the unseen.

So, when life feels like an empty net, don’t give up. Keep casting. Keep believing. Even when the waters seem uncertain, God is in the boat with you. He is leading you to something greater than you can imagine.  Difficult times may be ahead, but faith is what carries us through. #FaithOverFear #TrustGod #HeIsWithYou

Sunday Worship - 12/29/2024

As we prepare to step into a new year, we reflect on Luke 2:41-52, where Jesus, even as a young boy, stayed behind in the temple, immersed in His Father’s work. This story reminds us that no matter where we are in life, our purpose is always rooted in God’s guidance.

In today’s fast-paced world, we often feel pulled in many directions, just like Mary and Joseph when they searched for Jesus. Yet, like them, we can find peace when we refocus on what truly matters—our faith, our community, and our God-given mission.

This New Year, let’s follow Jesus’ example by seeking wisdom, growing in understanding, and walking boldly in the path God has set before us. Together, let’s embrace the opportunities ahead with hearts full of hope, love, and a commitment to live out our faith in action. #NewYear #Faith #PurposeInChrist #HopeAndRenewal #Jesus

Sunday Worship - 12/22/2024

We reflect on the beautiful Gospel from Luke 1:39-55, where Mary’s visit to Elizabeth reminds us of the joy and faith that flow when we recognize God’s work in our lives.

Just as Mary proclaimed, *“My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,”* let us carry this spirit of joy and gratitude into the season of celebration. ❤️

This season, may we open our hearts to God’s promises, just as Mary and Elizabeth did. Let us share love, hope, and kindness in our homes, communities, and beyond.  #Advent #4thSundayOfAdvent #Luke13955 #FaithHopeJoy #ChristmasAwaits #Rejoice #Jesus #Christmas

Sunday Worship - 12/01/2024

Today’s Gospel, Luke 21:25-36, reminds us to stay awake and be ready for Christ’s coming, even amid life’s chaos. In a world filled with uncertainty—like financial pressures, conflicts, or personal struggles—this season calls us to pause, reflect, and find hope in God’s promises. Just as we prepare our homes for the holidays, let’s also prepare our hearts, living each day with faith, love, and service. Advent is a time of waiting, but it’s also a call to action—let’s shine His light in the world! Many continued blessings to you and your loved ones. 💜✨ #AdventHope #FaithInAction #PrepareTheWay #Jesus

Sunday Worship - 11/03/2024

On All Saints Day, we remember those who’ve come before us, living lives of faith and compassion. Their legacy reminds us that we are called to serve one another, lifting each other up with kindness and love. Today, let’s honor their example by reaching out to those around us and making a difference in small, meaningful ways. Whether through a helping hand, a kind word, or a moment of listening, we can continue their work. May we all be inspired to live as saints-in-the-making, bound together by the love of Christ and our commitment to serve.

Reformation Sunday - Oct. 27, 2024

On Reformation Sunday, we’re reminded of something powerful: no matter our Christian denomination, we have more in common than what sets us apart. This day isn’t just about history—it’s about unity, hope, and the shared love that brings us together. Let’s celebrate the core values that connect us: grace, forgiveness, and the mission to care for others. We may express our faith in different ways, but we’re all part of one family, rooted in Christ’s love. Here’s to celebrating our shared faith and lifting each other up!
